I have always romanticized a few select sports. While football is the sport I feel most passionately about (trust me, you don't want to watch a game with my family), the lazy days of summer call for one sport only: baseball. While I didn't grow up with a major league team too close, we do have the Braves down in Atlanta as well as the Smokies minor league team nearby. Watching a baseball game on television does not compare whatsoever to the feeling of watching a game live. And it just so happens that I may get an opportunity to do that very soon because my mom and step father happen to live about 45 minutes away from the Texas Rangers stadium.
Naturally, with my mind already on summer, I was thrilled to style some Rangers gear in collaboration with Chictopia and Victoria's Secret PINK. I'll always have a soft spot for sports apparel: it's the tomboy in me coming out in full force. PINK is definitely the brand that comes to mind when I think well designed apparel for sports teams, whether its for MLB or collegiate teams (and the NFL line launches this fall!). I love classic sportswear with a bit of a girly twist! I'm especially fond of the crew neck sweatshirt. Statement sweatshirts are one of my favorite trends for spring and I'm even happier representing the great state of Texas in this comfy number.
Whether or not you're a baseball fan, I hope the Opening Day spirit brightens your Monday and fills you dreams of summer!
